Technology Guides:
Public Schools of the Tarrytowns
The following downloadable files contain screen shot guides that I have created during my time at Sleepy Hollow as the MS/HS Technology Teaching Assistant. I created these screen shot guides for classes that I worked with, teachers that I taught individually, and to upload to my “tech help” section of my school website. Teachers are able to visit the site and download these materials for future use. I found these guides to be extremely helpful during my own teaching as well as to teachers.

Educational Technology / Media Program:
The following links provide sample lesson plans that incorporate educational technologies and media. I created these lesson plans during my graduate program in Educational Technology and Media at Dominican College.
Videos:
The following links will bring you to my YouTube videos. During my time at Dominican, I took two documentary classes. The following two links will bring you to the documentaries I created during these classes. I learned how to use Final Cut and Premiere in order to create these final videos.
The first video is a short five minute video focusing on the educational issue of cyberbullying. The second video is a ten minute video focusing on one human subject that works in the educational field.

Student Teaching:
In the Fall of 2010, I began student teaching at Cincinnatus High School. During my brief time there, I taught both 9th grade and 11th grade English.
- I created a short story unit for my 9th grade classes. This unit included an essay writing project.
- I created a thematic unit on the play Macbeth for my 11th grade students.
In the Winter of 2010, I began teaching at Dryden Middle School. During my time there, I taught 8th grade ELA.
- I created a thematic unit on the novel A House on Mango Street. This unit also included grammar lessons, memoir writing, and a final multicultural presentation.
